Marvin Johncilla BA; Dip Mgt; MBA.

Marvin Johncilla is a human resource management professional with over twenty-five years of hands-on experience in the full range of human resource management activities. He has worked in departmental start-ups, strategy and policy design, compensation and rewards management, industrial relations, manpower planning and development, organizational development and the management of change. Marvin Johncilla has held several executive human resource management positions in leading private and public-sector companies in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean region. His resume includes:

• Group Human Resources Manager for the Trinidad Cement Limited's Group of companies in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados and Jamaica (2000-2001);
• Human Resources Specialist at the Caribbean Development Bank in Barbados (1989-1995);
• Personnel and Industrial Relations Manager at the Agricultural Development Bank in Trinidad (1985-1989);and
• Manager, Manpower Planning and Organizational Development at the Iron and Steel Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (1982-1985).

Prior to his involvement in the TCL Group of Companies, Marvin Johncilla was Managing Director and Principal Consultant with Human Systems Limited, a Caribbean-based human resource management service provider which he founded and led for the period of 1995 to 2000. Marvin Johncilla has since re-joined his consulting firm in his former position.

MELANIE JAMES

Melanie James is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and holds a BSc. in Management and Psychology.  Ms. James functions in both the Compensation and Executive Placement business units of Human Systems Limited / Professional and Executive Placement Limited.

DR. AUBREY ARMSTRONG

Dr. Aubrey Armstrong is an experienced Management Consultant, who has carried out various technical assistance assignments both within the Caribbean region and overseas.  As the president of Aubrey Armstrong Management Associates (AAMA) and in his capacity as a qualified Professional Team Leader in Training and Administrative Reform, he managed various consulting assignments in fourteen Caribbean countries.  His renowned expertise in management training has enabled him to work with several organizations in the Caribbean region and has thus endowed him with a rich knowledge about the region’s business environment and market opportunities.

He holds a PhD. in International Management and an MBA degree in International Relations, which consolidated his expertise with practical marketing and strategic business know-how.  He is a Visiting Professor for the Institute of Business, UWI St. Augustine and a member of Board of Directors of Regional/International Companies.

CATHERINE GORDON

Catherine Gordon, Principal of Catherine Gordon and Associates has had a long and distinguished career in Human Resources Management.  A former HR Manager of Point Lisas Nitrogen Limited and Trinidad and Tobago Methanol Limited, Ms. Gordon’s expertise in human resource management in the local Energy sector is well known.  Catherine Gordon holds a BSc. in Public Administration and a Post-graduate Diploma in International Relations.

GREGORY MCGUIRE

Mr. Gregory McGuire is currently a Lecturer in Energy Economics at the St. Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies.  He holds a BSc. Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.  He was formerly Head, Strategic Planning of the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited.  Mr. McGuire is Managing Director of Venture Strategies Limited and an Associate Consultant with Human Systems Limited.
